Giuliani and Huckabee No Better Than Hillary?

"As New York mayor, Rudy Giuliani billed obscure city agencies for tens of thousands of dollars in security expenses amassed during the time when he was beginning an extramarital relationship with future wife Judith Nathan in the Hamptons, according to previously undisclosed government records."

So ends the illusion of a heroic "All American Mayor," Rudy Giuliani. If he decides to stay in the race for the Republican nomination, he thereby insults every Republican. He should quit the race immediately. If he doesn't quit, he should be thoroughly repudiated by Republican voters in the primaries.

Even before these new disclosures of his using public money to facilitate his extramarital affair, Giuliani had too much baggage to ever beat the establishment machine which grinds away for the Democratic nominee. They would grind Giuliani into Italian sausage.

Giuliani should have stayed in the Democratic Party. The Democrats like candidates who use taxpayers' money for all kinds of personally favored projects. Giuliani would have been a formidable Democratic nominee, immensely preferable to the 3 Marxist brothers who are now running: Hillary, John, and Barack. Maybe it's not too late for Rudy to return to the Democratic Party where he belongs.

Which brings us to other "Rehucklican" shady characters.

"He ran the State Police airplane into the ground, many of the miles in pursuit of political ends. Inauguration funds were used to buy clothing for his wife. He once took control of the state Republican Party's campaign account -- then swore the account had been somebody else's responsibility when it ran afoul of federal election laws. He repeated the pattern when he claimed in a newspaper story that his staff controlled the account to stage his second inauguration. When I filed a formal ethics complaint over what appeared to be an improper appropriation of donated money, he told a different story, disavowing responsibility for the money. He thus avoided another punishment from an Ethics Commission, which had sanctioned him on five other occasions. He dodged nine other complaints (though none, despite his counter-complaints, was held to be frivolous). In one case, he was saved by the swing vote of a woman who left the chairmanship of the Ethics Commission days later to take a state job. She listed the governor as a reference on the job application."

Like Giuliani, Huckabee should drop out of the Republican race. The Republican Party needs to cleanse and purify itself, and not just be a "me too" party echoing the Democrats. There are enough Democratic crooks in politics.

In his revelation for the 21st Century, A Course in Miracles, Jesus Christ calls Huckabee and Giuliani to total honesty:

Because you think your sins are real, you look on pardon as deception. For it is impossible to think of sin as true and not believe forgiveness is a lie. Thus is forgiveness really but a sin, like all the rest. It says the truth is false, and smiles on the corrupt as if they were as blameless as the grass; as white as snow. It is delusional in what it thinks it can accomplish. It would see as right the plainly wrong; the loathsome as the good.
