Romney’s ‘Energy’ Hits the Airwaves in Florida
By Michael Luo ~ New York Times
Mitt Romney is continuing his pattern of being up on the air first in key early voting states, now expanding his advertising blitz to Florida, where he has been struggling to climb out of third or fourth place in polls.

Mr. Fix-It Goes To Florida: CBS News
Mitt Romney clearly thinks Florida will be a key part of his bid for the Republican nomination, even if the fate of the state's GOP primary, scheduled for Jan. 29, is in limbo at the moment. Romney has held several campaign events in the state, and now he's the first candidate to air a TV ad there.

What is it that Americans really, really, really want?
We know for sure it's not more of the same. The approval rating of Congress was recently around 11%, while at the same time the approval rating of President Bush was about 29%.
The average American is not a lawyer and may not know exactly what needs fixing, but common sense says something is seriously broken and America really, really needs a Mr. Fix-It.
The Democratic candidates represent not only more of the same, but the equivalent of trying to help an obese man by stuffing him with Big Macs: enormous expansion of government into our lives, huge increases in taxation, unwillingness to fight to win against America's enemies, and continued disintegration of American culture. Remember, Democrats were in control of America for most of the 20th Century. If you feel pressured and alienated in today's America, you know who is responsible.
Fred Thompson has no experience whatsoever turning a desperately failing situation into success. He is an actor, but actors turning out to be good Presidents happen only about once in 500 years. If America starts putting actors in the Presidency as a habit, we are doomed.
Rudy Giuliani was very successful cleaning up New York City. But big city mayors do not make good Presidents. They know street fighting and they know their way around in corrupt city politics. But those qualities preclude the depth of character and spiritual attunement required of a President.
Mitt Romney, on the other hand, is seen as Mr. Fix-It for a reason. He would turn American government totally around. No one can logically make guesses regarding what a Romney Presidency would look like, except for one thing: it would definitely be no more of the same.

Here is what Jesus Christ teaches in his revelation for the 21st Century, A Course in Miracles, about finding the real solution to problems.
No one could solve all the problems the world appears to hold. They seem to be on so many levels, in such varying forms and with such varied content, that they confront you with an impossible situation. Dismay and depression are inevitable as you regard them. Some spring up unexpectedly, just as you think you have resolved the previous ones. Others remain unsolved under a cloud of denial, and rise to haunt you from time to time, only to be hidden again but still unsolved.
All this complexity is but a desperate attempt not to recognize the problem, and therefore not to let it be resolved. If you could recognize that your only problem is separation, no matter what form it takes, you could accept the answer because you would see its relevance. Perceiving the underlying constancy in all the problems which confront you, you would understand that you have the means to solve them all. And you would use the means because you recognize the problem.
