What remains to be seen is whether his online backing translates at polls

CENTER STRAFFORD, N.H. — In a New Hampshire meadow on a recent weekend, Ron Paul is without a doubt the main draw at a Republican presidential straw poll that attracts several long shot candidates.

Linda Lagana, a Merrimack print shop owner, headed to a GOP debate in nearby Manchester last June "feeling angry and hopeless about the state of our country." But after hearing the 72-year-old Texan speak, "I felt for the first time hope," the longtime Republican said.

Is the Ron Paul rEVOLution not so much a revolution but a therapeutic plan to cure America's insanity?

No person on the streets, roads, and farms of America has to be told that the United States government is insane. It became insane when "do-gooder" politicians expanded government's purpose beyond protecting our shores and borders, and beyond enforcing detriments to criminality and fraud.

An expanded "do-gooder" government in the sense that liberals (socialists) define "doing good" is a contradiction in terms. It is never right for some men and women to use legislatures and threat of prison to force their theories and experiments, beliefs and "good intentions" on every one else. Such a dictatorship, in which government tells people how to live their lives and mind their business, is insanity ... and is the opposite of the intent of the U.S. Constitution.

It is argued that Ron Paul cannot win the Republican nomination, never mind the 2008 election. Maybe so. But is he setting in motion the healing America desperately needs?

Will Americans listen to Ron Paul carefully enough to say "No!" to the Clinton, Obama, Edwards dictator class of politicians who call for your sacrifice on a cross of taxation and bureaucratic regulation?

If indeed Ron Paul cannot win the election, will a brilliant and highly spiritual leader like Mitt Romney notice that common sense people respond to Ron Paul, listen with open mind to Ron Paul's ideas, and end up being the administrator of the therapeutic plan Ron Paul has introduced?

Time will tell. But time is healing, wouldn't you say?

Here is what Jesus Christ teaches in his revelation for the 21st Century, A Course in Miracles, about you being sacrificed to insanity:

What is the real meaning of sacrifice? It is the cost of believing in illusions. It is the price that must be paid for the denial of truth. There is no pleasure of the world that does not demand this, for otherwise the pleasure would be seen as pain, and no one asks for pain if he recognizes it. It is the idea of sacrifice that makes him blind. He does not see what he is asking for. And so he seeks it in a thousand ways and in a thousand places, each time believing it is there, and each time disappointed in the end. "Seek but do not find" remains this world's stern decree, and no one who pursues the world's goals can do otherwise.

If Mr. Paul were pro-Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom, I would vote for him.
